Reduced VAT for medical devices and pharmaceuticals
Reduced VAT for medical devices would increase hospitals budget's capacity. As an example – in Lithuania medical devices and pharmaceuticals have 5% VAT applied which allows hospitals to afford more with their limited budgets. At the moment in Estonia the reduced 9% VAT is applied mainly for certain medicine and med devices meant for personal use – there is room for expansion.
